Charging Cost and Time Calculator

A couple of things to note:

  • Typical home chargers are 3.6kW and 7kW, 11kW and 22kW are only available on 3 phase such as some homes, workplaces, commercial fast chargers, and above this is rapid chargers such as at services

  • Not all vehicles can charge on 400V 3-phase (e.g. 11kW and 22kW) so only select this option if this exists on your vehicle - you can verify your vehicles ability to 3-phase charge on the EV Database here, where it will be marked with "† = Limited by on-board charger, vehicle cannot charge faster" 

  • Most vehicles charge more slowly in the last 5% or 10%, especially when rapid charging, so the figures in the calculator are estimated only, and real life figures may vary

  • The rapid chargers (50kW and over) are based on the theoretical maximum times, but in reality, this is often restricted to some extent
